IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System.
IELTS test can now be taken on a computer and as well as on a paper. Test takers opting for IELTS on paper will take the Writing, Listening, and Reading sections on a paper with either pen or HB-pencils. The Speaking test is carried out face-to-face or via a video call with a trained IELTS examiner. The results of the paper-based IELTS test are announced after 13 calendar days.
IELTS Academic module is meant for those who wish to carry out their studies at an international school or university whereas IELTS General is taken by the candidate who plan to migrate to another country to work or settle.
